This morning I organised my annual Keep Britain Tidy Spring Clean litter pick in Kingley Gate, which I run each year as your local County Councillor. Together we collected five full bin bags of litter from around the area.

A big thank you to Christine, David and Jan for coming along and helping out – it’s always great to have residents joining in to keep our community looking its best.

While out, I also identified some fly tipping, which I will be reporting to Arun District Council so it can be removed as soon as possible.

It was also lovely to chat with residents while we were out and about. I was especially touched when one resident stopped their car just to shake my hand and thank me for the work I do as your local councillor. Moments like that really do mean a lot.
