This weekend a resident recently contacted me about a serious fly-tipping problem in the car park off Sudley Road in Bognor Regis, behind the shops.

They told me this has been an ongoing issue for years, with repeated reports to Arun District Council but the waste never being fully cleared. Having now visited the site myself, I can see just how bad the situation has become. Large amounts of rubbish have been dumped there, including furniture and general household waste, and more continues to be added.

This simply isn’t acceptable for local residents or businesses.

After inspecting the site, I have written to Arun District Council requesting urgent action to clear the waste and investigate how this location has been allowed to become a fly-tipping hotspot.

I will keep pushing until this is properly dealt with.
