𝟱 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝘃𝘀 𝟮 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗦 – 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

A resident contacted me about the disgusting fly-tipping behind the shops off Sudley Road in Bognor Regis — something that had been reported again and again 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

I went to the site myself.

I raised it with Arun District Council.

And when it became clear nothing was moving, I took it directly to Boots HQ and demanded action.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁? 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱. 𝗜𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀. This wasn’t luck — it was persistence and actually getting things done.

Residents shouldn’t have to live with hazardous waste, dumped rubbish and neglect for years on end. This is a busy seaside town, and areas like this matter — for the people who live here and the visitors who come here.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: 5 years of being ignored… fixed in 2 weeks when someone actually pushed for it.
